How Are Tokyo and Osaka Soaplands Different? Can You Book Outside Tokyo?

What's the difference between soapland in Tokyo and Osaka? Can you make reservations for outlying areas?

First, let's state the conclusion

For experiencing soapland in Tokyo, Yoshiwara is your best choice. Currently, there are almost no soapland establishments in Osaka Prefecture. LeLe TV only collaborates with Yoshiwara shops at the moment, and we cannot currently arrange bookings for locations outside of Tokyo such as Fuchu, Yuukinokuni, or Kawasaki.

I. Tokyo: The Top Choice is Yoshiwara

Yoshiwara is Japan's largest and most famous soapland district, with a concentration of high-end and mid-to-high-end shops, offering the most choices. All LeLe TV partner shops are currently located in Yoshiwara, with shops in Shinjuku currently under negotiation. See Yoshiwara Shop Categories and Pricing for details.

II. Osaka: Soapland is basically no longer available

Osaka Prefecture ordinance prohibits the opening of new soapland establishments. After concentrated inspections around the 1990 "Floral Exposition" (International Flower and Green Expo), all soaplands in Osaka City were closed, and there are currently no large-scale soapland facilities.

If you are in Kansai, the nearest soapland district to Osaka is Furuhara in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture (about 35 minutes by train) and Susukino in Shiga Prefecture (about 1 hour). If you want to find a companion in Osaka, you can consider LeLe TV's companion service, which offers local companion hostesses in Osaka. See leletv123.cc for more details.

III. Can we help with booking soapland in other areas?

Not yet. LeLe TV is currently only cooperating with Yoshiwara shops in Tokyo. Negotiations are underway in Shinjuku, and more shops will be added gradually. Cooperating shops have their own selection criteria, so not every shop will be listed.
